About the Role/Job Duties:
Teach Radiography courses in didactic and lab settings as a part-time faculty member. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, developing course materials, & assessing student performance. Candidates should thrive in a team-based environment, support diverse student populations, & demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Instruction: Deliver engaging instruction across didactic and lab settings using effective pedagogy and technology, adapting methods to support diverse learners while following current best practices, curriculum standards, and accreditation guidelines. Assesses student learning, maintains course materials and records (e.g., D2L, grades, syllabi), and fulfills Instructor of Record responsibilities in compliance with college policies.
- Student Support: Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment by providing individualized guidance, feedback, and mentorship while connecting students to appropriate college resources and opportunities. Identify and support students facing challenges, maintains office hours, and participates in student success initiatives to promote academic and professional development.
- Development and Planning: Design and update course content, syllabi, and instructional materials aligned with program goals, standards, and policies, integrating current research and best practices. Implement innovative teaching and assessment strategies, using data to evaluate outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
- Support Program Initiatives: Actively support program initiatives by collaborating with faculty and leadership to enhance curriculum, align outcomes, and drive continuous improvement and accreditation efforts. Participate in program reviews, data analysis, and outreach activities while fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Current unencumbered American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Radiologic Technologist license or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of clinical experience in the professional discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population and as a member of a team.
