Established in 2014, the Educator of the Year award recognizes an outstanding educator who has made significant contributions to the radiologic sciences profession through teaching, mentorship, leadership, and service. If you would like to nominate an educator for this honor, please submit your nomination via the form below.
Eligibility Requirements

The candidate must be a member of and in good standing with the MSRT.
- Must be actively serving as an educator in a medical imaging or radiation therapy program or related educational setting.
Nomination Requirements
- Any MSRT member may submit a nomination.
- Must be submitted using the official online form below.
- Incomplete nominations will be returned.
Required Documentation
- Completed nomination form (found below)
- Letter of Nomination
- At least two professional references (college dean, assistant dean, fellow educators, etc.)
- Letters of recommendation from references (may be requested separately)
- Letters should address:
- Teaching effectiveness
- Educational Leadership
- Professional Involvement
- Contributions to the profession
- Rapport with students and colleagues
- Continuing education and achievements
